I had this game when I was about 8, but I can't remember what. It's for the NES. In a castlevania-esque game, you sidescroll through dungeons killing enemies with weapons you pick up, like a pistol or mace. But the thing is - you have a pet hawk that can be controlled by the second player, or by the first player through particular button commands. It's nothing amazing, the hawk, but is needed to open certain passages, and can kill enemies, and ultimate die, as it has its own hp bar (though 19 out of 20 times you'll be dead before your hawk). So, erm. Any ideas?
