While your point is valid, it will be pretty sweet on day 1 to have access to 3 f2p games (decent ones at that) in addition to whatever you purchased.

That are still enough people playing You can pick it up brand new now cheap, like $10 to $15 dollars. I must warn you the people playing this game are really good and you might end up flipping off the TV after dieing a few times lol. Good game though.

I recommend not playing Socom 4, and if still sealed, returning it for the price you paid. This game was a huge letdown and nothing more than a 3rd person COD (unless thats what you're into). Campaign sucks too.

I just recently picked up MLB 13 the show with MLB 11 being my last played game in the series. My question is, how do I make a quick throw to a base after picking the ball up? The batter will bunt and as my pitcher runs to the ball I charge the meter up to green, once he picks the ball up he takes a few steps, does a twirl, calls his mom, and walks his dog before he throws the ball to first, by which time the runner is already safe. Am I supposed to just get the meter in the yellow or red zone for a quick throw, because I cringe everytime I miss the green zone due to ridiculously high error rates.

If anyone was curious as well, I just found TWD with the herd mode pre order on impulsedriven.com, this site is the digital gamestop, so your purchase will be safe. I don't see a specific time for release and I have $20 credit on GMG so I haven't commit yet.

Path of Exile is what you want. Went into open public beta a couple months ago, and I've been playing in the closed beta for over a year now. Best ARPG on the market right now, and probably the best F2P game there is. There are a few F2P shooters that some may argue are better (Tribes, Planetside 2), and those are also great, but you said you weren't necessarily looking for a shooter.

Just to throw it out there, Star Conflict is great too. F2P space fighter combat game. It's on steam.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of POE, however i'm not sure if it is EXACTLY what you were looking for, hits and misses are bases on your characters stats, but you have full control over all your attacks, who you hit, and so on.

Games dont alwasy get released at midnight on steam, only some of them. It is up to the publisher.

Most go live at 10am pacific time the day of release, but sometimes companies tell steam to release em at midnight.

Not sure were you can get it for a midnight release though, unels syou go to a store.
This game is not lookign very good though, seems like a cash in cuz the telltale game did real well and the tv show is popular.

I'm worried it'll be a pretty crap game as well, due to the massive information blackout and the few looks at the game we've had. However I love the Walking Dead and i'll be buying it still, if only to add more to the WD universe.

Yep, it's as people feared, old, mediocre titles not worth 20$, like the still expensive BF 3 and the recently released NFS MW and DS 3...EA those bastards, nobody wants new or extremely popular (even tho undeserved) titles.DanielDust

Hey guys, i've had some trouble finding a site where I will be able to buy Walking Dead right at midnight to play (if possible!) Steam has it listed for tomorrow at noon (est) although I thought they always released games right at midnight on steam. I also have not seen any preorder bonuses for PC which is a shame because this is one game I KNOW I want to buy and am willing to put a pre order on. Has anyone found any sites with a PC digital download set to release at midnight? Bonus points for pre order bonuses.
