@perryg84 If there's one thing I absolutely hate about The Legend of Zelda, it's how people continue to make excuses for it. Wind waker followed the OOT formula to the word, except it lengthened the tutorials and decreased the difficulty. To this day, it is one of the few games I own that I never bothered to complete, and I know very few people who did.
Zelda has been an absolute dinosaur lately. It's gotten to the point where I stopped paying attention to new releases. It's good to see that this latest one seems to finally be worthy of the praise it's getting
@clockworkengine Smartest comment here. It's a shame that the GS editors will never pay attention to it. How dare someone disagree with them in an intelligent way!
With a show like this, straight-up insulting GS's entire user base by using a select group of immature commenters to attack anyone who disagrees, it's a wonder anyone still follows this website. Just get mods to delete the bad comments.
This is just stooping to the level of the illiterate hoards of the internet. Incredibly infantile for a professional reviewing group
Score seems fair. To be honest, I was never able to finish this game. It had great production values, but the game design was irredeemably outdated, and it is even more so now (not to mention that the combat and the puzzles were insultingly easy).
Looks like they made some improvements, but I'm not sure it would be enough to fix this game. I like the new look though. Looks Mediterranean
