That's sad I was looking forward to this. Not really sure what you expect from shooters these days since they are all pretty boring but yeah if there is no suspense and feeling of terror in an Aliens game then its pretty pointless. So this got a worse score than the AVP game from a few years back? Ouch. I think the online is where they both shine especially AVP.
Yeah the sub shit for online should be limited to a choice and granting perks the best example is PS+ one the best and most rewarding system I have seen. The gold membership is old and outdated why do you think most MMOs are going free to play? The thing that disgusts me the most about Gold is that it gives you a two week 'exclusive' window on demos. Are you fucking kidding me? So that is like how most video services now days charge like 3 bucks for a show that is on ABC its outrageous. So people that dont pay for gold have to wait an extra 2 weeks to play a free demo. Thankfully I have a PS3, not that the 360 is bad but MS is a greedy bitch that needs to get with the times.
@kinglucifer21 yeah I prefer the sidescrollers to the 3D games and this and the 1st game seem to have nothing to do with the classics. Not a bad thing but still.
@The-Neon-Seal I guess I just don't see it going on next gen consoles but I could be wrong. It's kind of the same thing with all the HD collections they've been putting out now and it makes me wonder if they will do the same thing with next gen. I don't have anything against xbox except that they do get a lot of exclusive stuff like the minecraft thing and the DLC stuff for Skyrim. I don't mind if games are exclusive but when they are on all 3 platforms and then you only give DLC to one that's pissing on fans. Other than that I like xbox it is an all around good system for the most part user friendly hate the paid online but it's no wonder it's so popular. Yes ps3 is more power by far but you are completely right about its architecture. The PS3 is probably the not friendly user interface I've ever used it is awful. It isnt hard to navigate but some stuff is in dumb places, theres a lot of loading for icons and lag on lots of stuff at times. Thing with Bethesda is they've had time to figure out the ps3's coding and all that because I know they had trouble with DLC for Fallout 3 but that's been forever ago and true Skyrim is a bit newer so it has had changes to systems and such but I just don't buy that they couldn't have got DLC out by now. I would own all systems if I could. I have ps3 and pc just missing xbox. The fanboy wars are stupid both sides have pros and cons and both are obvious on each system.
@Baelath as far as I've seen just arrow ammo which is really stupid in my opinion since it does like 5 damage from the video I seen so its not like they are the dragonslayer arrows from Dark Souls.
