thanks for your reply. I plan on using this computer to make youtube videos, image editing, and websites. Do you still recommend my video card to be updated? If so I may need you to point me in the right direction since I have been out of the loop for a while now. Last time i was involved the 8800 was a great card!

And......

In this situation would you still say a ram upgrade is unnecessary?

I have an old gaming rig that is starting to show its age:

---------------------------------------------------

4GB of Corsair DDR3

AMD Phenom II Black Edition X4 955

Corsair 550Watt PSU

Nvidia N250GTS

----------------------------------------------------

My first main concern is the extremley loud noise my computer makes(for as long as I remember) when running, sounds like it could be comming from the CPU.

My second main concern is wondering if my Power Supply has enough power to handle a 4GB ram upgrade and a new cooler for my CPU.

My CPU has a stock cooler on it. But I feel I need better cooler since my computer sounds like an aircraft!

Does you guys have any advice on these manners?

Thanks in advance!
