I agree though, people who do those things are simply stupid. The best thing to do is mute them, report them and make sure you set it so you never play with them again...I dont know if PSN lets you do that Im just going by what I do on XBL.

Maybe excited, but I wouldn't say edgy. I mean nothing too bad has happened since DMCIV went multiplat and now everyone's getting excited because of Haze becoming a timed exclusive.

And E3 coming up, should be great for Sony. Plus PS3's big guns are coming later in the year and continue in 2008. Exciting for me.

you say maps are too big, but also complain that you want less players???
you know you can choose smaller maps, and limit # of players to 2
and resistance has a max of 40players to give that sort of battlefield feel to it (also to brag about haviong the most players per match in any console game)

i think resistance is fine, ive played halo beta (warhawk is better :P) and i find resistance alot more enjoyable...bihboy69

RFOM isnt battlefield 2 or Battlefront, and more players doesnt mean better gameplay or more fun by any means.

Have you played halo 3 yet? The beta alone kills RFOM... The gameplay in halo 3 is just fun as can be.

And forza 2 vs GT? Again have you played Forza 2? The game might not have better textures than GT:HD but it beats the heck out of GT when it comes to customization, overall options, physics, and frames per second *Yes believe it or not it actually makes a difference* 60 fps looks amazing...

No I dont believe GTHD ran at 60fps...and you're right, its not fair to compare to GTHD, but its also not fair to compare other apsects of GTHD to forza considering GTHD had 1 car on track, no damage and hardly any physics going on.

And more players online means nothing my friend. If gears of war allowed you to play with 16 players, it would suck...bad. *Not that I even like GOW MP lol*.

Halo 3's beta simply kills RFOM's Mp....and Im not the only gamers who thinks that. I find it hard to believe that you've played the beta, more than just a few quick games, and still you dont think RFOM was lesser of a MP experience. 

I remember when the cows were crying about how GoW2 was underated here... Despite the fact that it got AAA, they hated Jeff for not scoring it higher than Gears I guess. I think they're just overly unhappy about their situation at the moment.iunderstand

Yea but can you blame 'em? If you dropped down $600+ on a console that was supposed to KILL the 360, and it didnt even come close to killing it, and infact the cheaper console turned out to be a better bargain, you'd be a tad upset too hehe.

and AKUMA300x, you're right....overly excited is a better phrase I suppose. 

 

Halo feels more balanced in terms of weapons, maps, and the amount of players...but I still enjoy the sheer chaos of Resistance more. It feels like an apocalyptic wartime experience and the rapid deaths, huge maps and larger number of players make a more chilling experience as opposed to Halo 3 which feels like GRAW in terms of strategizing and talking amongst teammates to reach a goal. Halo is probably the better multiplayer overall in those respects but it doesnt have the excitement or Resistance.

I dont know...multiplayer just wasnt as fun in RFOM. And I cant tell you how many GOOD friends I've made over just a few weeks in the halo 3 beta...the system they've got setup is REALLY nice. And the single player should be just amazing...
