I totally agree with you. UI is very poorly made. The reason for that of course beeing that these controls were made for the console version of the game. Nothing frustrates me more then poorly made ui controls. I wonder if anyone Ubisoft tested the ui. I dare them to send 3 full convoys of wolf pelts without getting bored or switching hands

Also i figure out my problem, i was missing last artisian the tailor you recruit in NY. After recruiting ALL the artisians bunch of "level up" missions opened for them which is kinda lame mechanics IMO as you should be able to lvl up them from the beggining. Lots of people got confused about that, all over the forums.

Check that ini file and make sure read only atribute is not set on it, check official macbook forums and sites for compability issues with assassin, other then that try installing latest graphic drivers maybe it will help. Also whats your windows desktop resolution ? try changing it and see if it changes anything. Also check this thread, as ur not alone with that problem.

if I understand this correctly i need to recruit every artisian till i can upgreade them, but that means i can craft more advances recipies at the end of the game that just doesnt sound right to me. can someone verify this ?

So im at sequence 9, up to now I did all the homestead missions for the artisians and Achilles missions too. Homes of artisians got upgreaded I can buy new goods from them but they still show up at the crafting page as lvl 1. Did I miss something important ?
