I've read a lot though, and I suggest if you like fantasy, or anything with magic, read the Night Angel Trilogy by Brent Weeks, or if you like zombies or horror, read Briane Keene. Or if you like horror comedy, read John Dies at the End. Hopefully you won't be disappointed :)
I don't use them for a variety of reasons: 1) I'm a paranoid freak and I always think someone will try to take stuff out of there without me knowing 2) it's awkward and uncomfortable 3) I broke part of my phone once by forgetting I put it there and sitting down :( 4) Whay are there even pockets back there?!? 5) Most of my back pockets are really shallow, so bending down = stuff falling out

im just saying it would be one of the better locations. Yeah,it has good defense against zombies,that's for sure. but you are right, the guards would be pesky if they didn't want any visitors...

I'm sure there would be a good chance I could get there, you never know if people would be willing or unwilling. it's a hypothetical question, after all. im just saying it would be one of the better locations.
by that time im pretty sure most of them would be gone and also it wouldn't matter because the others would be stuck in their cells. trust me its one of the better places, because they have libraries and reinforcement and cafeterias and all kinds of useful things. im sure if it was the zombie apocalypse, inmates would be the LEAST of my problems.
