lol.. most people just complain about the cpu fan noise due to the high rpm. If you saying break down, every hardwares have the possiblity :P
Even though, I still prefer to customize my own pc rather than getting those ready stocked.

The pc he posted has just small complains, nothing to worry about much.. I think is a good buy if you are looking for a performance pc that could play most game titles on high settings with decent frame rates.

It is a good upgrade but just make sure your motherboard support 45nm processors.

Somehow I also having the similar problem with my 9800gtx+... GPU heating up for unknown reason but my case is only the max temperature instead of the min.
I remember when starting my gpu only reach 72'C as max, after that it rises through out the time until 82'C and sometime could reach 85'C currently. Is about 10'C increase in 4 months.

Sounds like you need to re-apply your thermal paste and reseat the heatsink. You bareliy need any paste, spread it thin w/ a business card. Make sure your prongs are all pushed in correctly, too.

I just did that last evening after I was shocked that the processor hits above 80'C

you know the E8400 has some serious issues as mine is doing the exact same thing. The funny thing is that I never noticed it untill I got a little curious, because I never measure temps unless I'm overclocking.

You mean your E8400 also would hit above 65'C? Now I think my only way to lower the temp is to get a new heatsink..

the highest mine ever hit was 90c after that I decided to do something about it. The thing that seemed to work is also the most expensive one sadly enough which is that I got myself a new case.

Wow.. that's even worse than mine.. lol. Anyway I'm using thermaltake tsunami dream case. I think I would just leave it be as long it don't go over 70'C.

I just re-applied the thermal paste yesterday and the cpu fan is working and is locked on the board. Somebody told me might be the psu causing it but it is possible?

Highly doubt it unless its going bad. Try leaving the side panel off and run some of the stuff you were doing when it got above 55C. Now if the the temps are way lower then they were with the panel on with fans then you found the issue, the case. Now if you are still getting the same temps with the side off then one of two things are happening temp probe issue isnt working right or you have a faulty part ethier the cooler(if it has heatpipes),cpu, or the motherboard.

With the side panel fan offed, the temp rised a bit higher (about 2 or 3'C higher).

Are the side fans blowing air into the case?04dcarraher

Yes.. And I also used the cyclinder thing that normally come with the casing to direct the blow onto my processor fan.
