Being a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls games I have high hopes for ESO. My only concern is that I'm totally new to MMO's (save for a short foray into LOTRO) and may need to really adapt to this type of game genre. I've always considered Elder Scrolls games as a personal and intimate gaming experience, so to be part of a massive community in this universe will be new to me. But looking forward to it a lot nonetheless. So much so that I went on ahead and pre-ordered the Imperial Edition for the ps4 as I quite liked the statue and the big map and lore-book that it includes.

I had signed up for the pc beta-testing but after the 1st weekend I decided to abort due to performance issues from my machine and didn't want to spoil my views on the game until its released on the Playstation 4. I'm waiting on an announcement when the beta will begin for the consoles...surely it can't be too far away since there is a June 2014 release date, or is it conceivable that the release date could be pushed back?

Hope not, but if the pc release encounters a lot of problems then it could happen.

Seems that I may have been right. Have read reports that the game has been pushed back 6 months. Apparently it was prematurely published on the official website.....???

@immortality20: Can't say that I have, but I have once had a huge bit of slow-down on one of the Kleidos challenges. Although there were around 40 enemies on the screen at this point.

Finished the game last weekend. Enjoyed it a lot, and now I'm attempting to get through these merciless Kleidos challenges. As difficult as they are I've gotten really stuck on the 3rd last one (Prince of Darkness difficulty) Its the one where you have to let the Paladin destroy the armour of the heavy guards and then take care of him last. For the life of me I can't overcome this and must have tried it around 100 times, no exaggeration!!

So was wondering if any of you out there have gotten past it, and can offer some advice......please save my sanity....and my television screen!! haha

@kenny64: You can always go back to those areas again. I have done so few times to get past/through gates that I couldn't earlier in the game.

I think that that may be the case. If reports are anything to go by then you begin the game as a fully-empowered Dracula fighting off an invasion to your castle.

I could be wrong though; but let's wait & see....

I wouldn't draw too many parallel's from the original Castlevania's to the LOS series. This seems to be taking some new avneues regarding the Belmont lineage.

Agree with the above post. Gabriel battled Satan in a weakened and vulnerable condition. As the "supposed" source of all evil I don't think that even Dracula would be a match for him at his full strength, otherwise he wouldn't be a very challenging foe to overcome.

That is, however is Satan will actually be the main enemy in the new game?
