Black women have been labeled as sexual deviants with the so purpose of pleasing their masters since slavery. Even when slavery was abolished and white men on black women rapes ran rampant there were no lynch mobs going after the perpetrator to uphold the woman's innocence. Which was a common excuse for white's hanging black men found in the bed with white women.

So you can so why people would take offense with others throwing that sort of label around. Especially, one so unfounded.

It's a common problem that hearkens back to slavery, like most issues that continue to permeate the lives of African Americans. Light skinned slaves were usually treated better than their dark skinned counterparts (field n****** vs. house n******), and slave masters used this manufactured conflict to divide their slaves. Man vs. woman, Old vs. young, Light vs. Dark.... That's just one side of the coin, though.

The other is that the media promotes European features, as beautiful or the "good" features to have. Many light-skinned African Americans have European genes because a their great, great grandmothers were raped by their white masters. It ain't right if it ain't white, but light skinned is close enough...

I feel the same, man. This game was a chore to play on subsequent difficulty settings because despite having great combat, it wasn't very fun to play through. 2 hours of sp mode content padded to make an 8 hour game. I'd buy a $10-5 bloody palace mode, though.
