You've guys reminded me that I still have to finish Parasite Eve. I have to go do that sometime. It's a great game, but I just never got to playing it with all these other games in the way.
Zack was a member of SOLDIER. He wielded the Buster Sword and was Aeris' boyfriend. He was a close friend of Cloud's. Zack had Mako inside him. Zack and Cloud both tried to escape from Shinra. However, it resulted in him getting shot by the soldiers and he died. After that, Cloud took his sword and also took Zack's personailty. Cloud supposedly took Zack's Omni Slash too. Cloud has been pretending he was Zack, but when he got poisoned, it is revealed that Cloud was lying to himself and to the others.That's when the real Cloud starts to reveal himself.
There is a chance of a remake. However, if there is, it will not be anytime soon. Square needs time and money and right now, they don;t have the time. They are busy with Final Fantasy XIII and other projects.
Jecht is good. He had became the Final Summon for Lord Braska. When he destroyed Sin, he had to become Sin. He became a shield or barrier for Yu Yevon. He can't really stop himself from destroying humans. He wants to be stopped and he wants his son Tidus to do it.
