@ PandaBear86 If you were trying to find a way to unite PS3 and 360 gamers you've found it. Don't be a douche, yes your PC might have better graphics (though I wouldn't brag too much there's bound to be someone with a better PC than you - for example me) but it also cost one hell of a lot more. Personally I believe all the consoles and a gaming PC are worth having purely because they all have different strengths. To argue that one is better than another is, to be quite frank, an idiotic thing to do. So in future don't do the stereotypical PC gamer thing you're only making the rest of us PC gamers look like a*seholes. Don't be a douche.

Well for starters I edit High Def video so my quad core is predominantly for that (render times are slashed enormously with every spare core) but Crysis handles all 4 cores during gameplay (it's one of the few games that does) so your point (in relation to this game at least) is completely invalid.

I pretty much agree with everyone here, there is only a slight difference between vista and XP but I have to say that it IS noticeable when running the game. Screenshots are a useless way to judge. The only difference in screen shots is in Vista there are a few less jaggies and a bit better shading. When running there are also a few particle effect upgrades. But other than that you're fine with XP. Incidentally I haven't had any problems running Vista (i'm running Vista basic 64 bit edition) it seems to me that it's Vista professional that people are having problems with... Please correct me if I'm wrong, only I haven't had any problems with 64bit basic. My PC: Q6600 2.4Ghz Quad core (overclocked to just over 2.66) 4gb 800mhz RAM Vista Basic 64bit 8600GTS 512mb (Xpertvision version with HMDI port)

Hey FaytOfId you're wrong about the PS3 always looking better. I have a similar setup at home and am also a self confessed videophile but that statement is just completely untrue. At 1080i there is very little difference between the two, in fact on some games (COD3 for example) the 360 produces a better picture on others the PS3 has the advantage. Each seems to be better at handling different games. The PS3 only looks better consistently when displayed in 1080p which the 360 doesn't have via HDMI - but with the release of the elite things will even out even at that resolution.

Whenever someone says ANYTHING is overrated it has to be an opinion. You can't PROVE anything is overrated, just as much as you can't prove something is justly rated. It's all opinions, a majority will always hold one of the opinions but that isn't to say the minority is wrong. It is equally entitled to an opposing opinion. Edit: Woah, I said opinion a lot in that paragraph...

Anyone else think that Jack_Saab89 needs to learn how to type coherent English? As for those saying: Backwards compatibility is a priviledge not a right. It's not the fact that we in the EU have less backwards compatibility, it's more the fact that we are PAYING more to have less. Now I'm sure I'm not the only one that that pisses off.
