Plants and trees still look horrible. I wonder if they'll fix it in the next GTA game. Since Rockstar is using the Euphoria engine to do animations, why doesn't Rockstar license SpeedTree, which is an engine used to create trees and other plants.
So the only difference between Halo 2 and 3 is high-res textures, bump-mapping, particle effects, reflections, bump-mapping and more bump-mapping. Admit it Halo-fanboys, Gears of Wars looks next-gen, Halo 3 doesn't. All hail Unreal Engine 3.
