As someone who prefers physical media over digital, even I have to concede gamepass is great value. Playstation now just pales in comparison, at this stage anyway.
Gamestp/EB is great when they have sales, plus you can pick up some hard to find games fairly cheap. It will be a shame when they inevitably disappear, it is always fun having a look around in thier stores.
Makes no sense in buying a digital only console. Severely limits choice of where to purchase games, you can not sell or trade games. Hell, some games can even go up in value over the years.
The problem is gamers have this myopic way of looking at things. Sony and MS want to lock you in and limit choice. Less choice has never benefited the consumer. Think long and hard before you embrace the digital future.
Well played Microsoft, this aquistion plus game pass really is an incredible incentive. I will own all the consoles eventually but a series x will be my first purchase.
Was never going to happen, Sony would rather sell you games that you already own. I still have several brand new brand new ps1, 2 and 3's in my collection so I am good to go.
