So, I'm curious why people that don't like RPGs are even posting in this thread about their dislike of RPGs. That's kind of asinine...

It's terrible, period. In a nutshell, it's a generic FPS with poor AI, LOTS of bugs, and cookiecutter weapons, environments and enemies. It DOES have a moderately-entertaining catch in the form of Nectar...but at some point during the game, they take the only mildly-interesting thing about the game away from you for the sake of a weak, weak story.

Basically. It boils down to Kojima's standards and principles. He will never release a product that he personally feels is substandard, and MGS4 on 360 would certainly be that. If you don't believe it go read the article about id's Rage requiring 2 dual-layer DVDs and STILL having worse graphics than the PS3 version (which will require 1 Blu-Ray disc) because of the file compression. That's what he meant about "MGS4 not being possible on any other console." Kojima Hideo would not release a version of MGS4 with graphics and audio that didn't equal those of the version already out. End of story.

Can't happen? Maybe. But please read this is you already havn't. This link was posted in another thread a while back, and I think it's important for everyone to read it.

Also, Capcom used to make all of the Marvel games before Activision cause they had A CONTRACT. Activision doesn't have complete control over Marvel's games. It's just a contract just like everybody else. A contract that expires. Their contract expired with Capcom and I guess they were sick of Capcom's 1 on 1 fighting only style and wanted to expand. So they didn't resign.

It's about money, dude, it has nothing to do with the style or quality of the games. Activision was willing to pay to hold an exclusive license, and Marvel jumped at the money. Comics don't really sell these days, it's all about movies and licensing.

After all, that crappy Rise of the Imperfects game was a one-on-one fighter...

And Capcom never had an exclusive license: they were making MvC and all of its predecessors, but plenty of other companies made other Marvel-based games at the time.

Yeah you're most likely right... just looks interesting... I already have bioshock on my computer tho, and of course I won't miss out on Resistance 2

Then you might wanna take a look at Far Cry 2...unless you're gonna get that on PC as well.

As for Legendary, it just seems like the same ole crap. Not interested.

Eternal Sonata drops Oct. 21st. I guess that's another one to add to my list of reasons I'll be broke next month.

White Knight Story is doubtful, since there's no Gamestop listing yet.

The Last Remnant will probably come to the PS3 in December or January. Microsoft paid to make it a temporary exclusive, like Eternal Sonata. I don't know what they hope to accomplish with that strategy, other than pissing off people that don't own 360s...but that's probably enough for them.

So what would you say ARE the best graphics on a PS3 game so far? Open to everyone's opinion of course.

MGS4, period. SC4 would be 2nd.
