I've always agreed with Tom's scores and opinions, and that's important seeing as how we like mostly the same games(platformers, action/adventure). There's been several games I've looked into because of his praise and so far I haven't been disappointed. At first I was like "really, an article", but what you brought up is a really good point and I think it's a lot of pressure to have, and sometimes you have to be the bearer of bad news for developers and hopeful fans. P.S. Hopefully Super Meat Boy comes to PSN at some point.

Excellent write up Brendan, I've been feeling the same way with Warner Bros. pre-order/DLC plans(specifically with Arkham City & Mortal Kombat). Their free gift to the fans was one free skin for Arkham City, while games like Portal 2, Red Dead Redemption and even such a small team as Supergiant games gave free DLC for Bastion to truly show appreciation to their fans.
