This a reoccurring thing. every time a game is released, gamespot gives it a score that's a solid five points behind the average. some might call this realistic scoring, but i just find it annoying. I no longer look to the site for gaming advice because what everyone else finds "amazing", they find "pretty good". I feel like if websites were gamers. Gamespot would be that kid who's all "yeah, skyward sword is alright i guess, but I've played through Ocarina 137 times, so as a Zelda fan, I'm underwhelmed..." also, what's with this "factors of five" scoring method? it seems like a great way of throwing an 88% game and a 92% game into the same, unspecific category, but it's a continuous trend throughout sites. p.s. I haven't posted on the forums here in like three years, so if this has been touched on already, i apologize for kicking the horse.
I've been told how to perform disk repairs with nothing but toothpaste and water, and i have attempted said repairs around 100 times. it hasn't worked even a single time. so why is it that i've heard from multiple trusted sources that it's a "godsend" and "molds perfect disks"? what am i doing wrong? is it some kind of elaborate internet prank that everyone is playing on me? who are you people?!
I remember when a friend of mine showed me the trailer for Mass Effect back in 2007. we watched and he was shivering with excitement while I sat with a "meh" attitude. then it came out and errybody was all. "Wow this game is gooder'n hell!" and I'm all "meh" (never finding an interest in playing it). then ME2 comes out and errybody's all "Wow this game is gooder'n mass effect. GOTY GOTY GOTY!" and now I'm all "huh?" so whats the deal? I've been told to play through the first even though the second is better because they intertwine? but I'm still on the fence about playing at all. advice?
I once had a lucid dream, where i was fully concious of my dream as i lived it. i started punching myself in the face and when it didnt hurt i knew i was dreaming. then i just f-ed around and literally did whatever i wanted. i like dreams now.
I recently played the Conan demo on Xbox, not expecting much. what i found was one of the nastiest hack/slash games ive ever played. heads, arms, legs, bowles everywhere. i love brutal games. what do you think are the best brtual games out there?
well here'd the deal. im in love with portal. yes this game is so much fun it sexually arouses me. problem is... after i beat the 7th level it quits on me. i hop in the elevator and it goes to the opening menu... is this a puzzle of joke im just not getting or is there something wrong. NOTE: the half life 2 episode one game has more glitches then ive ever seen on my disk, so dont think im not expecting this.
So im currently a silver member and im trying to upgradde to gold by adding a creditcard, so i punch in all my info and it tells me "Cannot Authorize Payment option. blah blah blah.... add new... blah blah blah" anyone know what the problem is and how it can be solved?
