Well I have been learning how to fly a jet pack while skiing on dry land shooting a duealing spinfusor. And also learning how to launch mortars thousands of yards yet im sitting comfortably at home on a nice leather chair only moving my eyes and fingers on a keyboard. Yup this is teaching me how to use weapons to kill. (catch the sarcasm?)

Politicians who have never played video games need to quiet down not us experienced gamers. This is exactly like Mr. Yee trying to teach physics when he knows nothing about it. Mr. Yee you need to quiet down.

@snoos @Labouskie Do you mean American democracy in general? Then yes it is very worn out, we need a new system. Instead of worrying about video games, we should worry about our national debt, our over crowded schools and the recession. Changing violence in video games isn't going to fix any of our nations much bigger problems. Were not going to win the war on terror this way. Let alone stop the nut jobs who feel its ok to kill others. And it is weird that you can read over and over left to right or top to bottom haha.

I wonder how many of the folks that claim violent video games are the problem have actually played the video games themselves. These people who dont know what they are talking about need to shut up, it just makes themselves look as stupid as they really are. We cant point our finger at the news who talk about these real life violent acts over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.................

I find it insulting for politicians (anybody for that matter) to say if you dont vote you have no right to complain about your government then these same politicians (and others) who have little to no gaming experience get on their soap box and complain about these games they have no familiarity with in anyway. How is that not completely hypocritical?

Yes, lets please waste more precious tax money on side issues such as video game violence. Lets not put this precious tax money into good use by trying to figure out what really makes people loose their minds. Let absolutely not use that money to point at the parents or to fund the underfunded US school systems that these nut jobs go through. We cannot, cannot, cannot blame the parents or the overcrowded school system that has a No Child Left Behind act where every kid passes regardless of their mental stability. And for heaven sake its not our governments fault that most schools in the nation are over crowded so let absolutely dance around the real issues and wast tons and tons of precious tax money to blame video games for these nut jobs actions.
