I have to agree. In fact, the first time I saw the game's character I immediately thought to myself "hey, they must of modeled her after Ellen Page." I'm not sure what the moral ramifications are of this but it's interesting :)
This is the first I've heard of MS's changes for the XB1. Does that include no more used game unlock fee? If so, I feel kind of dirty that I'm now considering getting one. I was so angry with MS and ready to get a PS4 that I'm finding it difficult to have a change of heart. The kinect requirement and extra $100 isn't very desirable, but nothing compared to the online check-in and unlock fees. I'm not sure what to do now. Will have to let things marinate for awhile before I can make a decision.

@royalrob3 I think partly why the reaction has been so strong is that thousands of xbox loyalists who thoroughly enjoyed the 360 feel betrayed by MS's laundry list of offenses (online check-in, unlock fees, etc), not just the price. I agree, we have a choice to buy it or not, but that doesn't change the fact that there are a lot of disappointed fans.
