20gb is never coming however if you wait untill the holiday season i can almost garentee that PS3 price will drop down-under when the 60gb runs out of stock in the US and the US 80gb get a $100 US price drop -> PS3 here will fall to $820 RRP and sell for $808 - $818 depending on the store ... choasgod
that would be great actually, the prices on ebay would be even cheaper then, but the thing is there are so many great games coming out for my 360 during that time so i will most likely spend the money on games during christmas time and pick up a ps3 early 2008
The 20GB is never coming, Sony said that Europe and Australia will not be getting it and only get the 60GB version (after it announced the delay of the PS3 in PAL regions). The 20GB version was going to be $800 or $900 here which is still expensive anyway.Nintendo_Man

yeah and i dont really understand why we need so many gb when everything can be stored on a blueray disc easily, if they released the 20gb version i would've bought it on launch since it's cheaper but yeah guess ill either import one or wait for a price drop. btw i only want a ps3 because i want to play games on it and i think 20gb would be more than enough for me since i dont really like downloading demos etc. same on my 360, my 360's 20gb hdd is more than enough for me since they release most of the downloadable content on disc, like shivering isles being included in the game of the year version of oblivion
that sucks man because i really need the cash for something else lol so i dont wanna spenda grand on a ps3, guess i'll just wait for a price drop, or maybe import one depending on how cheap it is
hey guys, i live in sydney and just wondering if sony is ever going to release the 20gb version here down under, since we are not getting a price drop here and the fact that ive already spent enough money on my 360, i dont really want to pay a grand to get another next gen console so i was wondering if we will ever get the cheaper model so i can get my hands on one, i dont really want to import one because i also wantto use itas a blueray player, and i dont really care about not having the chrome stuff on the 20gb model :P
i played most of the good games on 360 than i thought i was bored with it but then i bought crackdown and having so much fun with it now, most good games are on sale go pick up some decent games
