The style of writing and structure in Genesis 1 is more poetic than any other section of Genesis. You can see this by its overall structure (day 1 parallel with day 4, day 2 with day 5, day 3 with day 6) and details such as repetition of words a certain number of times (thus coming out in 3's, 7's, 12's, and combinations of those numbers like 21).

This type of thing is also seen in other places in Scripture. One can compare Genesis 1 and 2 to Judges 4 and 5 and Exodus 14 and 15.

Also, do you think the writer of Genesis was stupid enough to put "contradictions" a chapter a part without a reason?

I don't have 3 reasons for disbelieving in the Abrahamic god. I just have one, which is that I don't have any reasons for believing.

I recently deconverted from Islam:

For me it comes down to 3 reasons:

1.Innacuracies in the religous text ( Noah's arc all the way to the age of the earth)

2.No direct evidence supporting god's existance or contradicting well established science

3.The Abrahamic god is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully. (God Delusion, Richard Dawkins).

Why is god against homosexuality(when he created it himself as science points out) why would god sit, watch and enjoy the mass murder of jews during ww2 (6 000 000 +) and 800 000+ Tutsies, 3 000+ deaths from 9/11 and the near extinction of the polynysian ancestors of the majority of the world (N+S American, Australia). BTW these are just a few that come to mind.

I used to be a muslim and I considered this before leaving the relgion. The Qu'ran says sperm production happens , "It emerges/appears from between the spine and the rib bones." It also says humans think with their heart not their brain. Guess who said these as well, Classical Greeks.
