I find the tone of many of these comments to be intensely distressing. I believe that the gaming industry deserves the same kind of thoughtful analysis and discussion afforded to films and literature, and examining gender roles is part of that. I cannot help but suspect that many of those who so adamantly oppose the idea of even broaching the subject do so because they feel threatened, for whatever asinine reason.
