There is going to be a price drop around the time of late 2007 or at least that's what I have heard. I'm just telling you that it would probably be wise to wait until that point of time or even a little longer until you are fine with the way that the price is and possibly if it gives you theextra money to buy more stuff such as games or accessories for it.

This will be the place to discuss such things as whether you believe it is the right thing to do by having franchises or if you think that it is not a good idea. I have some reasons as to why it is a good thing and that is:

- Helps build an even bigger fan base

- Allows for developers to improve over a previous game and build on the same concept

- Can help sell and do well commercially than an unfamiliar and new game

Those are the reasons that I came up with for why it is a good thing. Here are the bad reasons:

- An original game that is done so well may only spawn sequels that follow its concept, but aren't any better than it (we've seen this happen with the Tomb Raider and Driver series)

- It can make a concept grow old if the franchise has been around for a while (the Mario, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and Legend of Zelda franchises are an exception)

- Will not give developers the time to move on to more new games with better innovation and improvement being applied to them than that of a previous game

This is all that I was able to think of. Now it is your time to say what it is that you believe about the question and have yourself explain it clearly as to why you think that way.

Although I say that we must only be helpful to the companies of the Video Game Industry, it doesn't mean that we must force ourselves to buy something that we may not have the money for, such as the PS3. We should only look at the best solutions of how to help the industry grow and at the same time, have all the fun from playing video games. Lets not look as problems towards anyone, especially Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony. If we're not interested, then lets stick with what we're interested in, but saying that we hope a company fails or seeing that happen would be a big problem for the industry, so in the end, you wouldn't be happy with the results. All of the companies have ways of contributing things for the industry and lets respect that. If we see a system that we're not interested in doing good, don't have the need to hate it because if it's doing better, there's a chance that later, you might make the best possible choice if buying the system.

I will possibly need to look at every console of the 7th generation rather than only one or two because it takes that much hard work to build on something new and better than that of what is currently existing. If I have the money for more systems, it's possible that I might look at the many previous generations consoles as well in order to understand the video game genres and what is right to put into making a system. It will take all of that to possibly become engaged in making video games with experiences that go beyond with both innovation and a great deal of improvement and for even having a company that has its own systems to work on. This is what I plan to do. Looking at having the competitors of yours fail is, especially a bad thing because it's just like whatI said before; this can hurt the Video Game Industry and culture itself, so lets try to make sure that it doesn't happen in abad way such as this.

The point that I am going to make may or may not be something that you will agree upon, but I will try to make it as clear as possible. I am assuming that, many of you and perhaps even me, had a system that we wanted and do want to be on top of the others. For instance, you may be a PS3 fan and say that Sony will win. As a Wii fan, you intend for Nintendo to win the next-gen console war. And as an Xbox 360, you have high expectations on Microsoft to win. Or you could be one of those people that believes anything is possible, but what you may have not understood is that, if a certain company in the Video Game Industry is to fail, it will not be good. If this happens, it will only make the Video Game Industry worse than before. To keep the Video Game Industry strong and alive, all of the companies working within it, whether one is last place or first place, must work all of its efforts to ensure that the gamers will enjoy the experience of a system of theirs. The fate of the Video Game Industry isn't only in those companies hands, but alsoour hands, for those that support or even may choose to work one day in the Video Game Industry.

I am one of those people that wishes to impact the Video Game Industry, raising the bar high, but not only on one particular genre. Instead, at the very end of my video game career, I want to have looked at and used all of the video game genres that exist and possibly even form new ones (it won't be easy). Depending on the performance of the companies striving to make systems, hardware, and even those working on games, it will all decide and impact the way that the Video Game Industry will turn out in the future. If people work hard enough and make the best of it all, clearing out any possible problems and innovating more, it will help the industry a lot. Saying that we wish for either Sony, Microsoft, or even Nintendo to die and lose the console war is not bad, but seeing it happen for real is bad as it will make the industry crumble and fall apart.

We must be able to understand that every single company has to make the best of it in order to give us more that we'd love to see (i.e. a virtual world or a video game console that can have over thousands or millions of gamers online for one game at once). Lets look positive towards all the companies and help them to ensure that we as gamers, always remain gamers and have the best times of our lives. Maybe, one day, the Video Game Industry will be even bigger than the Movie Industry, but it must only continue to grow good for the most part and with very little mistakes made at all. I'm sure that, in the end, we can all find any type of video game system enjoyable as well as the features that it has to offer. Making the best of it, by helping send suggestions or even joining the industry is what we can do to continue the Video Game culture that we've known to live in. Continue is what the Video Game culture and the industry of Video Games itself must do in order for it to live on.

I need to get people aware about landmines for my project, so I need for people to go to this link and make a comment about it. Otherwise, if I get no one to make a comment, it will just turn out as an F for my project, so please, anyone be greatful in helping me out. The link is http://per13.blogspot.com/ and I think that you may need to join before you can actually post anything about it.
