Truth.  I would really appreciate it as a gamer.  I think other people in touch with Japanese games would as well.  For example, the local art museum was showing all of the Miyazaki films in a week.  One of the movies I went to see they couldn't get their Japanese copy to work so they had to show the English dub at the last minute.  When they announced it to the audience we all let out a huge groan haha

I know Kares certainly doesn't want me to go off on one of my spiels about how I wish FFX HD had an option to listen to Japanese audio w/ subtitles (because original audio won voice acting awards) but FFX's english version at least incorporated voice acting tailored to the characters.  In Spirits Within I didn't think of the characters when I heard the voices.  Every line was a painful reminder that Alec Baldwin and Steve Buscemi were raking in cash for a performance (let's face it) they could really care less about in regard to story and fanbase while the producers throw millions out the window that they'll never see again.  Meh. I know.  I'm too much of a purist when it comes to voice acting.

Not from a Final Fantasy I haven't.  Kares summed it up perfectly.  An FF title that failed to provide the experience.

yeah but the voice acting is just so bad it hurts.  Being in the top 5 for worst box office bombs of all times doesn't help much either.

Oh man I don't think any movie appropriately depicts American life.  Television even less so haha.  Just...have an open mind? haha

I'm from the pacific northwest (oregon to be specific). We like to make fun of the south because the primary ingredient in their food is lard :)  I also agree with what Kares said.

Well we do have a pretty darn close relationship with Japan.  I can see how ordering with international shipping rates would be an absolute pain.

Oh shoot pokemon and saving kills. Especially when you're training because it's rather easy to do something stupid, die, and then lose all that experience you were racking up because you didn't want to save at the freaking center.

Yeah dunno.  That's the problem with a genre that's primarily single player.  The closest we could really get to "playing together" would be pick a game, play to a specific checkpoint/set a goal, and then discuss it.   :/  Sounds a bit meh to be honest lol
