Any time something becomes as big of an issue as the whole "emo" thing has, the same thing happens. The group fills up with posers. Just like the gangstas or anything else, almost all of the people who claim to be in that group are only there for the sake of being in a group. They adopt the style, music, etc of the group and then proceed to act like they are in the same boat as the "real" emos or gangtsas or whatever. I guaruntee you that the vast majority of emos dont cut themselves, just like the vast majority of gangstas who have never even been in a gang. I'm sorry that your group has been ruined but its probably time to move on. (Or just wait for the fakes to move on. Your choice.)thnickaman13
Exactly. The reason they get hate is because of all the badwagoners. It's annoying. I have scenester friends, but that's because they're cool... And I'm extremely hood, slang filled speech, baggy clothes, the works. That's just how I behave when I comfortable. I grew up around that and I like it. The other kids though just hop on for acceptance and ruin the reputation of a "group" or stereotype for a given amount of time.
So like he said, you can either move on or you can ride it out. I, personally try to set myself apart while still being myself. I workout a lot, I try to maintain my intelligence. I dress hip hop, but I do so nicely (my pants are all the way up, I wear a belt! LOL). I don't have a record, I don't smoke or drink. Which is really strange for the area where I live. I have a job I've graduated highschool and all that good stuff.....
Anyway. The point is, idiots can ruin any good thing.
Oh and cutting is stupid. I think it's the easiest emotional outlet they find. My best friend used to cut, and when she did it because of me, I kicked her ass. Told her not to do it again, especially because of me. As far as I know Photography is her new emotional outlet, LOL.
Okay,I concede,but the point is,no one cares about all that stuff you mentioned,unless you're a pro who ripped your hair out when they took out Wavedashing.

Have you ever played against Marth and got knocked off the ledge and couldn't recover because you keeped getting hit by his forward smash? Since you automaticly grab the ledge that doesn't work in Brawl so alot more interesting (not boring) moments should happen off the ledge. And easier item catching does effect playing for fun since items are on. And grabbing the ledge facing away from it does make recovering easier (same for automaticly grabbing the ledge). And the new airdodge system allows you to dodge attacks in air without being left open.
Yeah. What's with the grumpy casual players. You're like the fourth person I've heard whining about physics exploitation. I was only semi-pro last game, but I plan on going all out this game. I just don't get why anyone could be upset at competition for being well....competition. The people that find and care about these things love and play the game as much as you do, if not more. How do you think they find these things out? They just love to be the best at what they do. IMO, things like wavedashing and basically the whole pro meta-game just serves to separate the men from the boys....
My touchscreen on my DS Lite Cracked, could I take the one out of my DS Phat and use it in my Lite? Does anyone have any Ideas for a makeshift screwdriver for the weird screws on the system?
