@Kishobran: SC is so much about smoke and mirrors it's untrue. I may take a gamble on it but it's one hell of a gamble at this point.

@ExoticCharm: IMO ED is just as bad. Loads of broken promises, microtransactions and having to buy the game twice (ED & Horizons) to name but two.

@Kishobran: My friend told me it was due for release in either 2014 or 2015 when he put $100 into it in 2012.

@Kishobran: When interviewed in March Murray clearly says there's going to be multiplayer but it's going to be seeing other people's discoveries, more or less. But people just hear what they want to hear, I can show you articles which, even after that, go on about player interaction and trading with each other on the galactic economy ... which no one every promised ever.

As for SC, wasn't the original release date set in 2014 or 2015 or 20... oh let's just say "TBA" and keep that gravy train running. shall we? How's that for a broken promise?

@Kishobran: I think a lot of people convinced themselves Murray was saying things he didn't but SC has been in development longer than NMS and has so far produced less. NMS is continuing development over the year, so I assume this is a paid for "feature" article.

I am looking forwards to SC and may even buy into the game in it's current state, but let's not call counter perceived hype and bullshit with a game which is mostly hype and bullshit.

A far fairer article might have been "How Sky Citizen doesn't do much of what No Man's Sky Doesn't and a lot NMS already does which Sky Citizen doesn't do either"

Advice to anyone wanting to play this game and enjoy it: DO NOT WATCH OR READ ANY PART OF THIS REVIEW. Even the first 20 seconds of the video gives away so much. If you do ... my guess is that you will not enjoy it at all. Everything that surprises you are you go through is given away. Nothing left just an empty shell of a shooter. Shame on you Kevin VanOrd, you seem to be doing this all the time these days. Write REVIEWS not summaries.
