Sooooo, the huge ''argument'' of ''we play online a single player game so we wont have to deal with cheaters and hackers'' is finally braking down? How long did it take? A WEEK? :p

As long as people will continue buying those type of games ( with $$$ DLCs even before release date), the more the companies is gonna rip us (gamers) apart. The moment gamers will turn their back on them (really what will happen if for a year you wont play a new game? the end of the world?), they will stop this agressive money hunger strategy

Flawed article, just kissing the toes of Bioware and EA, like the pro-reviews did. A game like Mass effect is not art, or not only art. Its an INTERACTIVE entertainment medium. When Bioware was shooting at fans '' You decide, decisions matter, blah blah blah'' then they should have delivered. They did not. They rushed the game (characters are way less vivid than in the other games, ME2 characters' appearances are plain joke), put a Deus Ex clone ending, that had nothing to do with Mass Effect Universe as we knew it, and here we got it. As about the artistic aspect, they gave US the canvas, gave US the colors and let US decide how to paint. Everyone painted his work with the given colors as he saw fit and justified his likings. All that till the end. In the end, dear Gamespot, they gave a bucket of green, a bucket of blue and a bucket of red color and told us, throw it on the canvas now and shut up. Of course Bioware does not have to listen and change the ending. Of course we, the fans, have the right to rant and not buy their games again. It's not democracy, course not, but when fans (consumers) turn their back, companies close. This is for sites as Gamespot as well that put out reviews that please the ears of the EAs of this world and are plain fraud. ( Like Skyrim, the king of bugs, game of the year, when you kill off indy companies that their games have 1/10 of Skyrim's bugs)

@Tim_Lince_Kun Man, all transactions without taxation are illegal. That means even reselling a used game. I did not say if it is ethical or unethical, or if i havent done it as well, but it's illegal. If you sell something through online stores for example, you get charged taxes etc etc etc

@hardeddie 1) Buying a game, in digital form or in a cd/dvd, does not make you owner of the game, but owner of the priviledge to play the game's content, all other rights were, are and will be reserved by the game's company. 2) By selling a used game to someone else, technical, you do something illegal, except you pay taxes for the transaction as well, but i doubt you are. As for the subject it self, if we (the gamers) wont stop buying their games, they will not change policy. It's like with everything in this world. The masses have the power as long as they are united, problem is, they never are.
