I agree completely since I can play the drums in real life, Rock Band didn't really interest me as much as GHIII, but if they ever made the controllers compatible with both games everyone that owns GHIII should play Rock Band at least once, because it's amazing.

You can use the GH3 guitar for Rock Band. You just won't have the effects switch.

I was in the same mind set. I wanted to pick up Guitar Hero 3 but could not find it with the wireless controller so I figured I was going to spend 100 on GH3 so what's another 80. I wasn't interested in the drums but now find them fun to play. I find RB to be a game that will last me longer than what GH3 would have.
