I've bought my Xbox 360 Elite Jasper way back January 2011.. It's 4 years old now and still works like brand new and is really quiet since I always install my games to the hard drive..

However I think ahead and imagine what if say I wanted to play Halo Reach or Mass Effect 2 again 10 years from now and use all of my old save files that I've worked hard in achieving.. My 4 year old Jasper might just give up by that time and since Xbox 360s will most likely be unavailable by then I'd have no way of replaying all my old save files..

I'm now currently thinking of getting the Xbox 360 Slim.. The regular one not the E-Series, I really don't like how the E-series looks so I'll just stick to the regular Slim models.. Now my question is should I get the Slim or just stick to my Jasper? Before anyone suggests that I should just save up the money for the Xbox One, PS4 or games, please don't..

I'm generally ok with spending the money to get the Slim I just don't feel comfortable spending money on something that I won't even need in the first place..

I just recently bought GT5 2010 Edition and so far its been a huge letdown there are actually alot of things that bother me about the game ...

1. Loading times ... I already have the game fully installed and still the loading time really takes a while that it actually gets annoying especially since you will be scanning through menus for a good chunk of the game switching cars, changing oil, upgrading, browsing between different races from a-spec to special events etc.

2. Standard cars ... Now I'm not the kind of person who really just rates the game because of graphics but really though, the standard cars are a joke, they look like GT4 cars rendered in HD, I dunno if this actually bothers you guys but to me this just really makes to game look half finished, whats worse is that 3/4 of all the cars in the game are standard cars and the cockpit view makes it even worse ... I'd rather that Polyphony Digital made the cars look all great rather than having a fraction of them look absolutely superb and most looking below average ...

3. Race restrictions ... This doesn't bother me as much as the first two but it is "kinda" annoying sometimes, The car requirements for each races are too specific, I find myself buying a car, upgrading it and spending alot of credits and only using that specific car for 2 or 3 races, the money I earned is less than half of what I originally spent, it makes me think as to why bother with some of the races if I'll just end up losing money and buying and driving a car that I don't even like ... This is probably a way for the game to make you try out a good chunk of the cars the game has to offer but I it would have been better if there weren't too much restrictions as to the make, year made, hatchback or not, drivetrain etc.

There are other little things about the game that I could complain of but these 3 are probably the ones that stand out the most ... I can't really complain about online multiplayer because I didn't even try it, I don't really find that much fun out of online ...

Did these things bother you guys?? Or were these issues something that never really ruined your experience with the game?? Overall what did you guys think of GT5??

I'm really inlove with this girl for over 2 years now and I just recently started courting her since I'ts only been now that she and her boyfriend broke up ... Although I think she's very beautiful and slim, I don't find her the least bit sexually attractive, As in imagining her naked just makes me feel like I'm imagining one of my female cousins naked, It feels really awkward and disturbing ... Any of you guys felt similar things??

Im at undead Burg, i make it to undead parish, i have to fight golems that are 5x my size and when i beat them i have zero life left, and i die from a cheap skeleton. now this takes me ALLLLL THE WAY BACK TO UNDEAD BURG. Where the hell do i save the game, i swear the only reason this game is as hard as it is is not because its hard but because there are no save points between 50 skeletons and 10 golems. its just impossible to get anywhere in this game when they dont let you save.kingoflife9
You save at bonfires. I've never really had that much problem when it comes to bonfires cause their spreadout evenly enough if you feel like you have to backtrack a whole lot to reach your previous checkpoint, odds are, you missed a bonfire or you missed an important shortcut that you could open ...

I've played and beaten Dark Souls on my Xbox 360 and got 1000/1000 which is similar to getting the platinum trophy for the PS3 and I found it to be a really really great game, I also found the difficulty to be challenging at best and not even close to having myself rage so bad that I could have broken my controller ... I've actually beaten Dark Souls in new game plus without even dying no more than 10 times ... So with me being a huge fan of Dark Souls, I eventually bought Demon Souls and I was actaully kinda disappointed, first of I think the idea of having a central hub A.K.A. the Nexus kinda killed the game and most of the merchants being there kinda lessens the idea of you backtracking to some hard to reach areas and the player given the ability to carry plenty of health and magic potions makes the game alot easier compared to Dark Souls. Also most of the enemies and almost all the bosses, especially the final boss, in Demon Souls don't really pose that much of a threat compared to Dark Souls.

What do you guys think of the games, which do you think is better? harder?

So I bought a new slimbox 360 (to replace my RROD fatbox) in november 2011, and the controller that came with it only lasted until february 2012 - both thumbsticks have drift in them :( So Ibought a new wireless controller (with recharge cable and battery) in februsary 2012, and it lasted until just a couple days ago - it is getting drift if the right thumbstick.

So i just bought another one, and am hoping that I get at least a years worth of gaming out of it before the thumbsticks start to drift.

So my question is, does anyone else have a problem with their xbox360 controllers wearing out as far as the thumbsticks go?

PS - I also have a wired controller but I use that for PC gaming, not sure if the wireless ones wear out faster or not.

This is very surprising cause I've had my controller for about 2 years now and it works like it's still brand new ... And at that I'm a big fighting game fan so my controller gets alot of abuse and I've never had any problems with it ...

Do you play your games and finish them completely, as in you did everything you possibly could, got the best equipments, collected all the collectibles, beaten the game in all difficulties, maxed out levels and all that ...

What are some of the games you played and completed

I'm not talking about just simply getting 1000/1000 on a game because there are certain games out there where you can get a 1000/1000 even if it's not absolutely complete yet, like Skyrim ...

I have an Xbox 360 but with no Gold membership subscription account ... I refuse to support it ... Also I played and finished Dark Souls and got 1000G without ever going online and I hear alot of people saying that Dark Souls was meant to be played online, and I still found Dark Souls to be a very good game even in offline mode ... so from that I just want to know if the same is true for Borderlands 2 and Dragon's Dogma ...

(Slightly related sidenote: Funny that the very First Unreal Game has "Inverted Mouse" set as STANDARD. Who the heck would play like that? :D )

Justforvisit
Actually one of the main reasons why I can't play shooters with a mouse is because most if not all don't give you the option to invert it
