Well, like i said, the guy at 4my-xbox said he had never heard about it....so that leads me to believe this is a new problem...maybe has to do with the new drive itself. But he recommends i take it back to the store just tobe safe. I agree.

Since when was this fear of our systems breaking down acceptable? I beat the he11 out of my NES...and that thing STILL works. That controller could survive fallout along with the cockroaches...

I havent even gotten on LIVE yet...

Just as described before, itsounds like a BIOS boot of a computer. At first i thought it was overheating.

I have also noticed that shortly after it beeps, Assassins creed gets a little laggy. I just chalked it up to framerates...Acre is huge...but now im wondering if im on the verge of the RROD

I am going to double check the power supply tonight...if that doesnt stop the beeping, im taking it back tomorrow morning.

Now i just wonder if Best Buy will accept it, or if they will make me send it back to microsoft. And on top of it all, can i swap out Hard Drives.

Well, I am also tossing my hat into this one...

Got a 360 for Christmas...finally getting into the next gen race...and the thing keeps beeping at me while im playing COD4 and Assassins Creed.

Only happens after an hour or two of play, and beeps randomly. Its never minutes apart, always like an hour or even more apart. I called the xbox support, and just like you guys' representative, he had never heard of it.

Anyone else still having this problem? Is it the power supply? Should i return it to Best buy? Will they take it back without me sending it off to MS? And more importantly, can i swap Hard Drives?!?!?!
