Well that would actually be $55.00 then, what do they expect to be included in a console trade in for full credit?

Anybody know how much Gamestop would give me for my Nintendo Wii console and 2 Motion Plus Controllers with Nunchuks? Just curious, I know it is best to sell it somewhere else, but just seen where they were giving an extra $25 toward it. I've already sold or traded off all my games.

[QUOTE="Jacena7324"][QUOTE="La_Nague"]totally dependd on what you have, if you have a normal gaming PC, 500W is usually enough, but not always. And its overkill for other PCs.evildead6789

Yeah just looking to put in a 400W PSU replacing the 250W one it has now so that I can then upgrade the graphics card.

Jacena, You will have to mention the video card, have you decided yet what videocard you will buy?

No I haven't decided which one I will purchase only that a 400W PSU will be plenty I think. I've been offered some deals & I think 400W was what was needed. Let me get the list of those cards my friend gave me, compared them with Best Buy & they are cheap.

Oh well the hd 5670 doesn't need a extra psu, it can run on the 250W, so does all cards that don't require an extra pci connector. If you buy a hd 5770 for instance your psu need to have a special connectorfor that. The gt 240 will run fine on the 250W too. Besides if you buy a new psu, a 500 W psu isn't that expensive but this all depends on your budget off course, what is your budget?

evildead6789

I got a couple hundred to mess with. The cards you say will work all say online they need 400W or more. HP says I can only add an extra 300W no larger. They said this is a common and simple task, not sure why no one here has any idea.

It depends on what card and what system. 400 W is just to make sure your system will last long but with cards that don't require an extra pci-e connector i wouldn't worry too much. I bought a packard bell a while ago and it came with a 250W psu and gt 320 videocard (that's not much less than a gt 240).

Anyway tell me your specs of your pc and what model of hp. You can put any psu you want in there if it's a standard psu, if hp has custom psu that's another story, i have solutions for that too but let's first see what model you've got and what you're specs are. With 200 bucks you can go a long way

HP Pavilion Desktop p6674y--- AMD Phenom II 840t Quad Core Processor---6GB Memory---1TB Hard Drive---ATI Radeon HD 4200---ATI Radeon HD 4350 DDR2 SDRAM PCI Express(Husband says he has one of these at work)
