I have to say.. I played alot of games.

Now a Good story.. Damn the best I can think of is KOTOR 1, 2 was crap. Yeah.. gamesingeneral have pretty terrible stories. Books on the other hand.. theres a ton of good books. I need to read more, Hitman is fun.. but videogame stories, like Hitman are very unbelieveable.

Edit: actually Farenheit, or Indego Prophesy was alright.. not great by anymeans.. actually not even good, just ok.

Nooo! Quick get the ps3 now. Then you can beat the game (its hard) using the infinite boost glitch. Just tap X for infinite boost. I know it works in 1.1, not sure about 1.0, but its going to be removed in 1.2(the new update)

You have to play the single player to unlock cars in multiplayer. The update gets rid of the boost glitch, and trust me. Level 4 races are crazy hard sometimes without it. especially when they foce you to use cars that slide like crap on mud and the track is basicaly all mud.

Well hey if its running great then you better add some mods to make it look amazing.  Look up Qarl's Texture Mod III. Makes the game look stunning.  Suddenly the surroundings look as good as the characters.

basersx really hates vista huh?  I find it to be alot faster than xp. Im currently running XP/VistaBusiness on a dual boot set up.  If I ever have any work that needs to get done: papers, cs code, labs etc I actually prefer using Vista.  It runs alot faster and does not lock up nearly as much as XP did when running multiple programs.

Actually It only locks up during games. That's the only reason I keep my XP partition around.. and It would be a pain to reinstall all of the games, or waste twice the space installing games on both OSes.  I have to blame Vista's gaming problems on poor sound card drivers. Creative only has a bare bones driver for Vista right now and games have crashed due to sound errors. But most work fine.  Oblivion, Medieval: Total War, Just Cause, and a number of others games run just fine.  Some games like the Sims 2 wont run, but thats because I was only running the executable from my Sims 2 Installation on XP.

 Anyways, Vista>XP for me because.

1. No slowdown playing music w/ itunes, opening 3-5 word documents, 1-2 excel documents, and eclipse simutaneously.

2. Boots up faster than XP did. Hibernate is useful. Widgets - so-so I use them, but use the calendar in outlook.

3. The computer can kick my ass at chess titans. Which is impressive. Finally a challenge.

I only knew of Crysis and Flight Sim X's update. Humm... Well my computer is just a little over a year old now so I need to hold out a little more before I upgrade again.

I dont really see a problem with vista. I run it in dual boot along with xp and it seems fine. It does not hang as nearly as much as xp does. However it is not without its problems. I have been able to run most of my games on vista, running just the executables, and not actually reinstalling the games and finding all of my games in the games explorer is pretty neat. (I could just place all the icons on my desktop in a folder for XP however) Anyways, I'd like to move to vista completely, but the only problem is some games need to actually be installed to run(Splinter Cell: DA), or run mods(Oblivion). And I am far to lazy to uninstall them on XP, or install them twice using double the space. Otherwise Vista is great. P.S. playing minesweaper w/ the 360 controller is kinda cool. It rumbles when you blow up. I only hate that I only have Vista Business. My school is too cheap to give us Ultimate. Ultimate users got it good... They get this cool video playing thing so you can use videos as the desktop. Looks sweet. Its only a beta now, but later its supposed to use little resources because it will use shaders, now it just works like playing a giant video which uses processor power.
