I think its funny, some of the comments I have seen here about GTA4. I agree San Andreas was awesome, but GTA 4 was great in its own right. I dont want the same game personally, or same theme. Also I have heard people say IT IS TO REALISTIC, or I WANT TANKS, etcc. Well if these things you dont like or want. go get Saints row, a more OVER THE TOP and non REALISTIC game like this.

Personally, I want it to be realistic. And who knows what realistic is, are you Russian Mobsters blabbing up on Gamespot? I dont think so.

I found the game to be awesome. The graphics,. the scerny, all the stuff you could do(besides fake tanks you wouldnt see on a city street anyway) This game was superb. And I liked alot of the characters. I am a two time felon, and hung with a bunch of unsavory characters when I was young, and believe me, alot of them in the game reminded me of some of the people I know from my past, even Brucie. lol

Anyway, just as with any game, so will like it, some will not. Personally I think Fallout 3 sucks, but half of you praise it. Everyone has their own tastes, and I feel GTA4 was great. I cant wait for the next one in billion years again.

im not a fanboy by anymeans, I have owned all three consoles and still have two. Needless to say, Halo 1 was cool when it came out, but to be honest, Halo is the most overated game of all time. Its not as great as people hype it up to be. I was at a friends house the other night, and he just got halo 3 (late bloomer), and I havent played it in a year, and seeing it again just reminded me how overrated it is, and the graphics are crap. Gears is the prime shooter on xbox, period. As far as killzone 2 goes, screens look awesome, but that means nothing. I dont rate or hoop and holler over a game til I get my hands on it. See Haze! Lets hope it is good, if not, on to the next.

any rpg that isnt the old zeldas just not a fan of them. Even gave fallout 3 a try because of reviews and thought the shooter aspects would keep me good thru the rest. Good graphics, boring game. Takes ten years to get out of the vault, and u are a baby? lol games week. And I put assassins creed 2nd. Good graphics, and cool and fun at first, then so repetitive and boring after an hour.

i got three games for Christmas, and I am happy to say I am pleased with 2 out of 3 of them. Heres my thoughts after putting a couple hours into each.

Little Big Planet- Although I would like some boss battles, this game is extremely fun and addictive. The graphics, music, everything is spot on. I havent got to the making my own level thingy, but so far I am having a blast playing the story, definately my favorite of the three.

Resistance 2- I only played a little, and, the graphics I feel could be a little better, I already liked the beginning and am looking forward to going through the story. I loved Gears 1 better then resistance 1, but I feel this time I am going to be engrossed into Resistance 2 more.. I played a little online, and 60 people is nuts. Not sure if I think its to much or not, but was fun playing. With 60 people, dont try being steathly.

Fallout 3- Lets just say I got this already put up on Cragis list for sale. Now the graphics and intrigue of the story are spot on, but I am just not a big RPG fan. I figured I would give this a go, and I would get enough shooter action to keep me fullfilled through the rpg side of the game. Not so in my opinion. Maybe I did not play long enough, but if a game dont catch my attention in the first couple hours, forget about it. RPG not my thing, and anyone who thinks that the shooter aspect will help you swallow the rpg hatred, think again. Not my cup of tea.

I was YOUNG then, but kicking Tysons a$$ on Punch Out was awesome.

As far as next gen, I have to go with C0D4, to short, but AWESOME story. Still love the part crawling silently while opposing troops are walking almost on top of you. That are the nucleur blast.

Theres still some lag issues, but what Socom or game for that matter dont suffer some from Lag? Its a fun game, but I feel a little behind the times. I find it slow compared to most shooters, but still a decent shooter and series in its own right. I prefer COD now, but still bought and play Socom. They just need to add some maps, there is only 7, two are old favs, and 5 are new, which only 4 are good. More maps will make game better, but most bugs gone for the most part.

People have people who died in drivebys, car wrecks, drug deals gone bad, etc etc. Dont matter if its a fake city. Some people are going to be touchy on all subjects in alot of diffrent video games. There is probably some guy named Mario in little Italy mad cuz he thinks Mario is a disgrace to his people, who knows. Games are not about feelings, its about a fun experience, and being taken to a place youve never been before. I think it would be cool. Thats all.

Oh the famous saying, BACK IN MY DAY. It goes along with everything in life, Music, Movies, even Games. Although graphics and games have came a trillion light years from the 80s, we still love our old games. I am even talking back in Ms Pac Man and Galaga games. Something about revisiting that time, and the truly great games stand the test of time just like movies and music. Give it 20 years, when you are playing virtual reality games with goggles or something on, and youll be saying, what do you think about MGS4 or Halo, I sure do miss those games. Funny thing is, they will stick kick a$$ and so will Galaga and Mrs PacMan. The answer is your are getting older, we all are, and anything that takes us back to our good old days is great. There is good games and always will be from every console of every generation, and I am happy to be here long enough to enjoy all of them. As far as games making a jump, some games just belong in their era but they wont let them die. Now Mario and Zelda have done great moving forward, but god forbid, please let Sonic Die. lol
