@Thanatos2k: If you believe I ever made such a claim then clearly you are the delusional one. And either you do or you simply can't comprehend what you read. Either way, if my cognitive capacity was as limited as yours clearly is then I would prefer not to make comments that require a higher level of understanding than you are obviously capable of.
@asnakeneverdies: Yeah, I'm sure he really cares about your opinion when his games sell tens of millions of copies and sweep hundreds of Game of the Year awards.
@GunEye: Reality said that when Todd Howard confirmed this will not be out until after Starfield is released for next generation hardware, and I hope I don't need to explain to you that Todd Howard and his team won't be releasing three AAA games all within a year for different generations. You are attempting to say "I told you so" to people when your rationale for making your original assumption is the complete antithesis to the logic behind why it was actually announced, which was to tell fans that Bethesda recognizes what they're excited for and how long they've been waiting and to let them know that they're going to have to wait until the next generation for it.
@Barbowan: Everything you just wrote was either completely wrong, ignored reality, or agreed with my comments. Congratulations on spending so much time simply to prove and reinforce my own points.
@Barbowan: Blame their investors and basic business principles. By hyping everyone up for Starfield and TES VI right now they would effectively be cannibalizing their sales of Fallout 76 as consumers shift focus to their other games. It's selfish to believe they should do that simply to please you. At the same time they want to demonstrate that they are thinking about their fanbase by making an announcement about games that many people want to see. Let's not pretend that you and everyone else wouldn't be complaining if they had shown nothing. Stop whining and find something more important to do with your time.
Does Bethesda have multiple teams/directors working on Fallout 76, Starfield, and TESVI or are the developers for each the same by a majority? Educated guesses are welcome for any unknown information.
