Ok, ive played this game and its not half bad, the story is actually pretty fun. The game itself may not be as good as say Resistance 2 or Call of duty 5, but it is not worth a petty 2.5 from IGN.. 2.5! what the hell is that! Whos with me that this game deserved more?!
I think that neither of these games deserves GOTY, like oblivion (which yes I know got game of the year, but im basing it on game expirience). This game is amazing. Its been said that Fallout 3 is like this game, which I dont thinks true becuase there is alot more freedom in oblivion, you can go to guild and such get horses, and just explore the plains finding new caves and dungeons aswell as houses with diffrent people to chat and interact with. Ive played both and I enjoy fallout 3, but it has to be said, Oblivion is the best expirience I have ever had with a game. The sheer size of the this game is AWESOME. However for the actually main campaign although i didnt think it was as good as Oblivions, but MGS4's main story was compelling and was amazing. I thought all the bosses were amazing, and I thought how they all had there own stories and all how they interacted with eachother was amazing. So yeah, MGS4 is 2nd in the GOTY.
