very nice set up, i'm hoping to do something like this too. Could you tell me how to achieve such a set up? I have DVI monitor. (plz also include how you get audio)ac324
Thanks for the compliment. I'm using a HDMI to DVI cable for video, and a optical cable to my receiver for audio. If you can't do optical then I "think" you can use the composite cable setup that comes with the system and just utilize the audio portion of it (red, white). Just make sure you change your audio options in the ps3's menu to reflect that. For the HDMI to DVI cable check monoprice.com
i like the ones with the computer but does the computer support 1080palexman234My monitor accepts a 1080p signal, but the native res is 1680 x 1050 so it downscales it to that. I have the ps3 hooked up to the DVI input on the monitor through a hdmi to dvi cable. The monitor supports HDCP on the DVI port as well. Overall it looks pretty good if you aren't sitting too far from it when playing a game. I have the sound going over an optical cable to my 5.1 receiver.
As you can see, I haven't done anything with the cables yet. :P
21" wide Gateway. I won't sit really far from it when I play so it will hold me over.
