I just feel weird. It's hard to explain exactly what I mean but I'll try. Everyone has a belief on how the world was created, why we are here, where we came from. And this is what seems to be plaguing my mind. When I myself think of the answer to these questions I start to get this belief that everything is not real. The people I see, the world I see, everything else in this universe doesn't exist but is actually created by me and that everything is a figment of my imagination. After googling up "is everything my imagination?" I found out that this concept is called solipsism. It frightens me because of the fact that If at any point I was to snap and fully believe in a solpsimistic point of view that I would disregard everything the universe contains in such a way where I can pretend in a self to be god, my own god. (being that I created everything around me) The idea of solipsism also frightens me because of the fact that I don't see a way to how I can retract from it. If I were to ask someone,"are you real?" they would say yes. But how do I know that this isn't part of the rules I set for myself in creating my own universe. Why, if i'm the creator of the universe also follow the rules i set for the world? What causes me to be sustained in such a way if i were to create everything? And to be honest, the last two questions are the only reason I continue to not fully believe in solopsism but only have tendencies to ponder on the idea. Basically it frightens me to think about what would happen If I suddenly became fully immersed in the belief. I'm not sure what I want to ask you guys about this, just maybe what you think on the subject, your experiences with it if you have any. Or even if u share the same belief. P.S sorry if it's hard to follow I'm not good at expressing my opinions or thoughts
Have you ever won any contests you've entered? If it be something big like a new Tv or game product or just a local contest or something at your school? I can't recall winning any contests.. :(
So, what do you guys think , just laziness? I really can't understand this, I'm actually interested in my topic, I think starting it is just the hardest part...Franklinstein
Well t o me I feel it is a mix of laziness and the thought that we feel theres alot better things we can do that we actually would enjoy
