Halo 3 is better than gears. Halo has a bigger variety of weapons, vehicles,and 16 vs 16 action. Everytime I play gears its either a shotgun or chainsaw fight. There isnt really that much strategy and the cover system makes the game have boring gunfights. The detail and graphics beats halo but Thats it. Halo has the best story and the best multiplayer.

utter correctness. Allthough both are good games Halo just has more life in it due to the custom gametypes. Also I love me some large 8v8 gameplay. No 16v16 though.
Halo is a great game. Halo 2 was a great game with minor flaws. Halo 3 looks to fixs those flaws. Also they made the new mute feature in the ingame scoreboard for a reason.
