I'm not a fan of multi-player only games. If this game is so focused on that aspect, I might as well avoid it and look for something else to play. Besides that, when I heard Activision was in on this title, I immediately felt an urge to avoid it. Big publishers combined with big budgets usually mean very middle of the road development so they try to appeal to the largest cross-section of gamers. Not at all what I'm looking for!
I think if they can make this a reality, it would redefine what entertainment can and will be. Imagine your in-game enemies not being programmed for some myriad of responses to your presence, but rather learning on-the-fly, developing meaningful communications with other non-player characters and making both rational and irrational decisions just like humans do. Instead of everything being written in black and white, on and off or "if this, then..." decision branches, you would actually have a sliding scale where nothing is black or white, but rather a shade of grey on a continuum. Both weird and exciting!
@unreal849 @vihazur You guys were scaring me for a bit. I'm getting the PS4 version and hate to see an entire 10th of my HDD consumed by a single game. Xbox One getting external HDD support is a great idea that Sony should look into as well!
@allyouneedisluv @H0M3RC1D4L There is just nothing real about the concepts laid out in this game. I could understand if this complaint was levied against a CoD game, but this is Nazis...in an alternate 1960's...with dark/occult energy powered weapons. Nothing close to real...just fantasy!
@soccerpzn @kennythomas26 Or...just accept the fact that across the board, the game will be similar with the exception of higher resolutions on PC. I would say the review is pretty much interchangeable (the differences between reviews of versions on Metacritic would also suggest this is true since the aggregate reviews are close from platform to platform).
@allyouneedisluv How ridiculous! If you want "realism", don't play games. I see nothing "real" about ducking behind cover and your health improving after being shot with half a magazine of 5.56
@robbiejones Who cares about The Witcher 3 anyway? Worldwide sales for The Witcher 2 didn't even top 750k and this is supposed to be a killer app? My guess is the reason it is having problems being run in ultra settins on the PC (and inherently on the consoles) has more to do with shitty programming than the capabilities of the new consoles. I'll pass on W3...and still pick up Trials Fusion.
