@Arkhalipso: Sure, if that's your preference. But gamers, I think, are notorious for sticking to what they know (fanboyism is a prime example), and if the gaming content isn't going to change then I basically see zero difference. If someone is going to stop visiting this site because of content on other forms of entertainment then I think that's silly. It's the sort of feedback that is basically asking GameSpot to remain the same forever; that's just not realistic.

@Arkhalipso: Why is it my or your decision to dictate what CBS does with its property? The way I've read the article is that GameSpot's 'wider entertainment' section will be run by a separate team that was already doing that job anyway. If anything it might bring more potential gamers to the site while still offering a place for both movie/comic lovers and gamers.

Considering it has been specifically pointed out that another team will be producing the additional content I don't know why people are acting as if there won't be as much gaming content.

For people who have a problem with this... Get over it. You don't own this site in anyway, you don't produce the videos or attend the conferences that these guys go to in order to bring us content on some of our most anticipated games. If they want to expand into other forms of entertainment then I think 1) It should only affect you if you're somehow FORCED into reading this new content- which you're not; and 2) Let's face it, it's true that most gamers do love the kind of stuff they're talking about in this article, i.e. Star Wars, Marvel, DC etc..

Thank you GameSpot for making a very sensible decision. Keep it up! :)

CD Projekt Red totally deserve this success. Not only from the point of view that they're arguably the underdog studio, but also from the point of view that The Witcher 3 is genuinely something special. After years of scraping by with The Witcher and The Witcher 2 they deserve recognition for the culmination of their talents in the third game in the series.

Although not a Warcraft player I was looking forward to this film purely for the themes that resonate with me (epic Fantasy etc.). I am, however, a bit worried about the quality of the acting in this trailer...

I'm SO SO excited that a woman is seemingly going to front a massive franchise such as this. Bring it on.

The main problem I have right now is the way in which we, as players, are spawned onto the map. I believe they'll be doing a traditional 'Conquest'/'Supremacy' mode in which we'll have control over our spawn points, but I find that in the Walker Assault mode you either spawn really far from battle or in a place that's already being swarmed by the other team. Would it be too hard to ask to be able to spawn at a point that's maybe more convenient for your own positioning?

I am enjoying the game overall, however. And in a weird way I'm looking forward to the episodic way in which they'll be able to add on content to the game :). I hope to see Heroes/Villains from The Clone Wars series as well.
