1. Takes a back seat to the combat. You're saving the land from a dragon, usual fantasy plot. A nice twist here and there and a couple of surprises keep it moving. 2. Gender, height, weight (those two actually effect combat, speed, carry capacity etc), you name it you can change it. 3. It takes me a long time to scroll down the list of completed quests. Loads of side quests, kill quests, escort quests. You can raise affinity with characters to the point that one of them becomes your LI (just be careful who you be nice to, haha). 4. You can play solo. One class even gets a skill that boosts damage when fighting completely alone. However the game is designed that you have 1 fully customizable main companion that you create and equip and 2 other companions that you hire, created by other players. 5. Lots of classes. I have maxed 3 classes at level 82. The level cap is 200, so I could go on to max more, you can mix and match, specialize, and keep core skills from some classes when you switch to others, making interesting hybrids. 6. Best combat ever, honestly its epic. I've never played a game where you can climb all over the body of massive beasts stabbing them as you go. It's fast, fun and sometimes hard but very rewarding. I've clocked up 177 hours so far on this game, dont think I have ever played one game so much before, and I've played just about anything you can think of. Buy it at once. ;)

Once you're able to fall down the neverending Everfall shaft like a skydiver you'll be in loot heaven, 15 chambers of Everfall to explore. It's not until the very end of the game though.

All quests have a base reward of something like 5000 exp and 10,000 gold, or whatever, cant remember now. The additional reward is whatever else you get, like a gold weapon or more money (like 75,000 for 45 rabbits).

I should add, a lot of the items are well above average.

Why do people farm anything. Because they want things they dont have. I dont think anyone cares about the stats of these things as much as they want things that look cool / different for their collection.

I would honestly say it doesnt matter as much as you think it does at this stage in the game. I remember thinking it was REALLY important to give the right idols to the right people (I gave Gold to Caxton and Silver to Madeline) but then I didnt really buy any of their new stuff anyway, turns out the dragon and the merchants / chests in Everfall have far better things anyway. You'll look back at Caxton and Madeline later and wonder why it mattered, haha.

They're for new players, feedback I've seen suggests they are outclassed by other weapons available in the game very quickly.

Did nobody read the part on the DLC that says 'five new packages geared towards new players'. That's NEW players.
