[QUOTE="throwback8"]Download the demo and give it a go. People love to hate change, and for a long time I was doubting this reboot, and wasn't even really looking forward to it. The demo popped up in the store and all my concerns were washed away. In my opinion the game looks amazing, and plays even better. I love the angel and demon weapons ability to be switched to on the fly. In addition to the diverse weapons and combos, the grab-and-pull mechanics just strengthen the combat system that much more. I'll be picking up a copy tonight and only crying out of joy.sjwho2

"People hate change, I embrace it"

DmC fans keep using this as an excuse to promote the game while overlooking its many.....many faults. Forget even being related to the Devil May Cry series, on its own this game is just subpar.

Subpar how? I think even as it's own game it's great.. Great combat, interesting/weird story, good pace and skill progression.

I agree with OP. Halo is ruined with loadouts and everyone using long range weapons all the time. I absolutely love getting shot to death from the other side of the map with a long range rifle every single time....absolutely stupid. No strategy involved whatsoever. MaddenBowler10

Not to mention that the DMR is more effective than the sniper rifle at long range. go figure.

not to mention

- inconsistent weapon damage.

has anyone else experienced this? ive been killed in 4 shots by a DMR from full shield. whereas mine takes 6-7. Ive been shot twice by a dmr then punched and i died even though my shield wasnt down. Not to mention if i get a guys shield down one to the head kills him but otherwise its 3-4 shots, ridiculous...

I'm not sure if this is new to CoD because I haven't played since World at War. I've taken the time to open all required ports and my NAT is open but I can never get any consistency with game quality, 'Best' game quality always feels far worse too.

I'll get destroyed in 1 game before I can even react. My reactions are good so when I get killed before I even move my aim or after getting 5 shots off (which should kill with an AR) it is annoying. It just feels like fights that I should win or at least have a chance in I will loose.

Then the next game I'll dominate. Killing 5 'bad guys' that swarm the hardpoint in one fight,  killstreaks coming out of my ears and all that. Earlier my AR ran out of ammo (I don't carry a secondary) so I was literally running round the hardpoint knifing people. I got 6 kills against people running in with SMGs.

This makes it worse because when I do play very well I know that the reason is most likely because the other guys are suffering the horrible lag.

There is no middle ground. Will this ever get better?

MJS88

There has always been less lag on the Xbox360 compared to the ps3, but never like this. I've never experienced the amount of lag in any game that I have in blops2 and yes its lag (my screen vs kill cam DURASTICALLY different). I don't believe it will get better, the game has so many other issues treyarch doesn't care they've made their profits.

[QUOTE="mrsniper83"]

I have been telling everyone that I know that Halo 4 is a better game this year and not to get Black ops 2 and they were like, no way, black ops 2 is gonna own this year....well....what do you think now.Oh, and don't be a fanboy about it, tell the truth, you know it sucks this year.

gruoch1

It sounds like you don't really want anyone elses opinion, you just want people to agree with you...

No its not that, just the fanboys about this series won't ever say that the game is bad, no matter how bad it is.Judging by how you replied, you must be one

Right, you want people to agree with you that it's a "bad" game even if they have a different opinion and really enjoy it. In other words your topic shouldn't read "What's your opinion?" A more appropriate title would be "Agree with me or you're a fanboy."

I was super stoked for this game and its pick 10 system. and well... it blows

1. Lag

2. Lag compensation that turns gunfights I clearly won into ones I lost, or creates a noticeable desparity between what they saw and what I saw.

3. OP SMGS

4. Uselss assault rifles/LMGS

5. Everything is as accurate as a laser

6. Perks are boring especially with no pro versions

7. Bouncing betties, really they didn't learn from BO1 how OP claymores were and BB in WaW...

I could go on but really CoD has always frustrated me with the lag issues but this is the worst cod yet

Face it Darksiders II is better than DMC Reboot. Nobody is going buy DMC cause it's going suck and recieve terrible reviews like RE 6 did. Darksiders II is basically DMC but better.

BryanParksSuper

I would disagree, I thought darksiders one was fantastic. Darksiders 2 was significantly less fantastic. the world felt so empty I would rather have had it been streamlined like DS 1 was

Just an FYI to future posters, look at the original date of this post. 90% of the information isn't relevant anymore

Hello!

I haven't finished the game yet but am going to get the dlc today and wanted to check what level range people are probably going to be PvPing/invading others at. Also are there any areas I should not kill the boss in so that I am still open to invasion? I want to make sure I don't go too high and also I don't wanna stay too low either. At the moment I am level 54.

I greatly appreciate the help!

Thanks!

nonesuch2

Usually the pvp rang is about 60 and 120. However there are arenas at 1-100 and 101-200 201-300 etc. For invasions you can invade 10% lower than your level so a 100 can invade a 90. but there is usually no higher limit so a 1 could invade a level 777

Beat the butterfly first, the best thing you can do is summon beatrice at the bottom of the stairs. Atfer the butterfly go to the Gargoyle.Yoeriman1

Gargoyles are way easier than the moonlight butterfly and should be beaten before that one. Like Yoeriman said though, summon beatrice she will kill it easy. Just reverse your hollowing at a bon fire, make it to the stairs alive and her summon sign will be behind a bush underneath the stairs by the boss
