Sure, but you'll need some extra devices to play online wirelessly with the PlayStation 2.The following things are needed to make a connection with a wireless gaming adapter or wireless bridge:
- PlayStation 2
- Wireless gaming adapter or wireless bridge
- Ethernet cable (usually supplied with the wireless gaming adapter or wireless bridge)
- Modem
- Wireless Router
A short Ethernet cable (3ft or so) will be plugged into the NETWORK port located on the back of the Network Adaptor. From there it will pick up the wireless signal from the wireless router and allow you to connect wirelessly. Wireless gaming adapters and wireless bridges are exactly the same, but they will up the price of a wireless gaming adapter to try and get more money from those who know that there is no difference. You should read some reviews to see which paticular device will suit you best.
No wireless USB adapters will work with the PlayStation 2. You must have an ethernet based device. :]Okay, all, I've got a problem; I seem to have lost my Network Start-Up Disc. Does anyone know where I might find a replacement disc?

You can use the almost any online game to make a Network Configuration. Go to the online section of the game and then look for a button that says, "Create/Edit Network Configuration". Click that and then follow the instructions on screen. From there you should be able to create and save a new Network Configuration to go online with. :]
If you want a different PLAYSTATION® Network handle you need to create a new account. You'll have to use a different User ID (e-mail address to sign in) and then a different online handle must be created that has not been used by any other player. :]
