congrats! i highly recommand you buy MGS4 and resistance 2. both really amazing games that you will go through the story atleast twice. and both have a really fun online (especially resistance 2). and get killzone 2 and god of war 3 when they come out..oh also get the Orange Box (its really cheap) and you get like 5 games in it and all of them are fun especially team fortress 2. anyways bye's enjoy your PS3 and PLAY B3YOND

yes you can. when you download anything (demo,movie,game,etc) once you press it you have the option to select "Perform in Background" just press that and it will download it , you can do what ever you like when its in the background. to see when its gonna finish or what percent its at. just go the the network on the XMB and youll see download managment or something like that.
