The images almost looks alike at first glance but looking at the intricacies of detail sets both apart. GOW shadowing seems darker than GOW2. Only if the PS2 hadn't gone with the "jaggies" at all. I haven't played the GOW2 game yet to compare but judging from these shots, I believe they were a poor pick for comparison. GOW had 'screen softening' inthe options menu to prevent jaggie constipation when you play it on your HDTV. I don't mind the graphical capabilities of the PS2 anymore, only if these two awesome games came out during the sophomore year rather than the super senior/post graduate years. Is it now that developers finally found out how to crank out all the juice on current gen systems? I hope Sony keeps the future of this franchise exclusive to the PS3.
