Why don't you go through the story again, and when you have the option to kill someone or let them go, do the opposite of what you did in the previous story and see if it changes the outcome...
Luckily for myself I don't buy into hype. I'll judge the game for myself once I've actually played it.

How does it not make sense? GTA has a ton of hype right?! Right. So some people will automatically think it's just about the best game ever, and maybe it is. BUT MAYBE IT ISN'T. It depends on the person playing the game really. So he'll get it knowing that it's something he's most likely going to enjoy, but he'll wait until he's actually played it before agreeing that yes, it is about the best game ever...or maybe it won't be for him. He won't know for sure until he's played it. Get it?
I just didn't get the part where he said He doesn't buy into hype, yet he'll judge it for himself when he plays it. That would mean he'd more than likely have to buy it, which meant he technically bought into hype.... I don't know, it just didn't make sense to me.
