RPG's are being dumbed down for the casual market. Which has it's virtues. Hardcore RPG's like The Witcher will still make good sales progress. I hope WRPG's do overtake the COD clones for that casual crossover.

WRPG's are a lot more popular now than they where 5-10 years ago. Even big hitters like Shadows of Amn and Planescape Torment wheren't as popular as Mass Effect 2 and Oblivion.

Dragon Age 2 looks like crap though, it comes out very soon and we know absolutely nothing about it. I hate how they removed the PC view. The story should be excellent though.
