I have a Dell XPS Laptop buit for gaming. It's the clunky laptop with a subwoofer sound. I ran a World of Warcraft test at systemrequirementslab.com and it said that my CPU failed. I also have a Dell Latitude D620 and the CPU for that passed. Both laptops failed in the video card department.

The xps CPU is a Pentium 4 3.00GHz.
The Lat CPU is a Core 2 2.00GHz.

Which CPU is actually better? I'm a little confused that 3.00GHz v.s 2.00GHz is not good enough. I'm guessing the new chips are much different then the older one despite the speed?

Why are you level 17 though, 6 years logging in you should at least be at the 30's :P.cyberdarkkid

I don't review game as much and the game forums are full of little kids that have nothing good to say so I try to stay away. I like to view videos and read about games. I was thinking about going back to reviews and and starting a blog. I love video games and I would like to help members choose on their own will. I use to write reviews and post my email address. Believe it or not I would get mass mailed by members asking questions on games and if they should buy it. My trade mark has always been "never judge a game by it's cover or reviews. Always make the decision to spend $60 on your own before you listen to someone elses false review on how great a game is when it's actually not good enough to shell out the money. Always and I mean always make a purchase based off of description of the game rather then the actual GS review. Some editors are bias against games while others actually take the time to explain the game rather then it's flaws. $60 is not easy to come by and games can never be returned so be smart at what you decide.

I was heavy into reviews ever since GS rated Tony Hawk Pro Skater a 10 and Metal Gear Solid 9. That's when I knew some of the editors were bias against some games especially those skater dudes that didn't like action games over games like Tony Hawk Pro Skater. So I try to send you in the right direction and ultimatley make the choice on your own.

Unfortunately they made me stop posting email address and ended the fan mails because it wasn't allowed.

I remember reading GS from zdnet in the 90's but there was no sign up. I'm guessing those who were members in 2002 like myself probably been reading reviews since the 90's. This is interesting. I must say GS is the best gaming web site on the planet. Even though I don't agree with some of their reviews but allowing us to voice or opinions and review is amazing. Hey GS, how about a video review contest eh?

Not bad we have some people from 2002. It's really weird for me because I remember gamespot through Zdnet.com. There was no such thing as gamespot.com. You had to go to zdnet.com and access the game section there.

I just realized I've been a member since May 14, 2002. I've been typing gamespot.com every single day since I've been a member. I can't remember the last time I didn't log in. This place is addicting.

How long have some of you been members?

Thanks! I'm trying to get SC's from Star Wars Force Unleashed. I'll guess I'll try to hook it up to my PC.

I've always wondered if you were capable of taking screen shots with the xbox 360, can this be done? I noticed people are putting screen shots from games on the 360 but I never knew how it was done. Anyone know if this is a possiblity?

I dont know what you guys are doing to make your x360 crash but I havent had that problem.  I've put my adapter on the floor (carpet) and played for hours without crash.  It might also have to do with the environment of the room.  If your room is super hot, then yes it will most likely freeze.  I've also played in harsh environments and no freeze yet.  Hopefully this doesnt happen to me and if it does I will put this method under consideration.

My x360 is flawless, so far so good.  Let's hope I didnt jinx myself but the system seems to be working great.  It does get a bit hot but dude, can you do other things rather then play the system for hours of the day?  You might want to try ice packs that are reusable.  Maybe that can help or putting it on a metal table.  I dont know, just never had this problem.

Other or, thanks for the tip.  :)
