My computer has been crashing (made a thread about this earlier). It's almost as if the power plug has been pulled. I recently upgraded from a 7950 GX2 to SLI 8800 GT's. Now I have had the power going to the EZ Plug, ever since my previous setup. I read somewhere in the manual that if you have a 20 pin atx setup (I dont)and or when the video card doesn't have a slot for power to be directly plugged in (It does have a slot), you need to have the EZ plug plugged in. I have power goingintoboth cards and the EZ plug. Could this be the reason behind the crashing. Before you ask its not overheating, I have determined that.

Thanks, in advance.

If thats what you want it should work fine on medium settings. Don't go by me though, I am not familiar with laptop graphics cards.

Seriously though, like other people suggested you can blow that thing away with a desktop around the same price.

If you feel really confident you can build your own system.Which is the best bang for the buck.Although I do not suggest unless you have prior experience, or someone to help you out.

Yes, now I am starting to lean back towards the PSU. Sounds like what one of the previous guys had.

Well 80 Degrees Celsius, while playing crysis for a little bit. I expect that to get higher the longer I play, hence the system shuttingdown.

...and thank you for the recomendation, I will look up that cooler. For now though I have my eyes set on the Thermaltake Duorb.

I'm using an OCZ 700 WATT. I dont think thats the problem anymore, I think its the graphics card overheating.

I'm going to buy two new aftermarket coolers for each one of my graphics cards tommorow. Hopefully that will fix, if it doesn't then its likely the PSU. The new coolers will be welcomed even if it is thePSU,because I have a hot graphics card (literaly and figuratively).

Anyway thats it until tommorow, goodnight.

I have two 8800 GT's and you are getting a better score. I got like a 9500, probably because of vista.
